| Studio 1 Policies |
| Students must remain inside of the building before and after class time. No waiting outside. Students must wear appropriate cover-ups over dance clothes before and after class time. No dance shoes should be worn outside. NO gum or jewelry (exception for small earrings) Hair must be pulled back and off of the neck (buns) for Preparatory and ballet classes. Hair must be pulled back (ponytails) for all other classes. All belongings must be labeled with students' names. Studio 1 will have a Lost & Found, but is not responsible for any items left at the studio. PLEASE REMEMBER: Regular attendance is essential for positive progression in student's education. NO refunds or discounts will be given due to absences. WITHDRAWAL POLICY: Parents wishing to withdraw their child from Studio 1 must submit in writing a letter requesting to be withdrawn prior to the 1st of the following month. Students who simply stop coming and do not submit a letter will continue to be billed for tuition. ~ NOTES & INFORMATION ~ Studio 1 will relay information to parents in three ways - by e-mail, sending notes home with students and posting information on our website www.S1Dance.com. Please update us with any email address changes and check with your child after every class for notes or reminders. Please also visit our website often for links to recital pictures, recital dvds, important dates and other information. We will also put out a bi-monthly newsletter full of information and updates on individual class progression. ~ STUDIO CLOSINGS & HOLIDAYS ~ In general, Studio 1 follows the Hoover City School System for holidays and studio closings. Please check Important Info for exact dates. When severe weather threatens our area, we will also follow the Hoover City School System. If the schools are closed or close early due to severe weather, we will also close. We will make every effort to contact students on those days through email or by phone. We will also post a message on the homepage of our website as soon as a decision is made to close. |
