Studio 1 Dance is a fun, safe place to learn the art form of
dance. We offer students a place to study different styles of
dance in a fun and age-appropriate environment. We educate
students from early childhood in anatomically correct dance
technique, dance history, choreography, and dance terminology
in the areas of ballet, tap, jazz and hip-hop.
In addition, Studio 1 Dance offers progressive Cheernastics
instruction as well as dance team and cheerleading intensive
courses designed to aid those wishing to try out for local teams
or squads.
~ About Us ~
Our Studio features over 3600 square feet of space. We have safe, professional Timestep & Harlequinn sprung dance
length mirrors, a spacious waiting area and large windows for viewing dancers on “Watch Me” days.
We have a wonderful staff at Studio 1. The instructors at Studio 1 Dance are all well-trained in various forms of dance and
cheer and are eager to pass on their passion. Each instructor focuses on sharing their knowledge in a motivational and
positive manner. Our receptionist is always available during class times to help with any questions or to give assistance.
Studio 1 Dance now has an in-studio Boutique where you can shop for your dancer while waiting. Our Boutique is the
perfect place to find dancer gift items and accessories.
Studio 1 Dance is located in the Shades Mountain Plaza next to Piggly Wiggly. We have a spacious parking lot and are
convenient to the surrounding areas of Hoover, Vestavia and Homewood.
